  • Publisher, AlignMark Information Publishing.   P&L and budget responsibility for $20M business information publisher within Thomson Corporation's Research Institute of America Group.  Managed 36-person staff of editorial, information technology, and marketing professionals in the creation of print, CD and web products covering human resources and employment law.   Reported directly to CEO of AlignMark.    Major accomplishment was the development of hr-esource.com, an original information portal for human resource professionals, fully e-commerce enabled.

  • Senior Editor, HR Solutions Division, RIA Group. Conceived, designed, and prototyped information services for HR managers, with primary emphasis on health care benefits (project manager of  Health and Welfare Benefits Advisor on CD).  Negotiated and drafted software licensing agreements with vendors of software and primary source material including Austin-Hayne's Employee Appraiser and Cobra Solutions' COBRA Administration Manager. Primary presenter of new electronic CD-ROM products to regional sales managers.  Featured speaker at informational seminars given to potential customers.

  • Editor, Thomson Professional Publishing. Acquired and developed new titles for Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Company and Clark Boardman Callahan Publishing Company, including Indiana Real Estate Transactions, Missouri Tort Litigation, and Missouri Contract Litigation. Initiated acquisition of ATLA Press by Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Company.  Negotiated and drafted software license agreements; provided corporate management with ongoing advice and support on employment, copyright, and intellectual property law.   Introduced new products to corporate sales force.
